Caroline Chou '22
Director of External Service
Caroline is a second year Film/TV major from San Jose, California. She began her ballet training at the age of six and has since performed in many roles, including Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, Russian soloist in Swan Lake, and Swanhilda in Coppelia. In addition to performing, Caroline has a deep passion for teaching and has been a ballet instructor for the past seven years, teaching children grades K-12. As Director of External Service, she is excited to combine both her performing and teaching background and bring ballet to communities beyond UCLA's borders as well as bringing guest instructors, dancers, and industry professionals in. Though she dreams of a future as a film director, Caroline is grateful for the opportunity UCLA Ballet Company has provided for her to reconnect with her first love.
