Catherine is a fourth-year Civil Engineering major from Mountain View, CA. Catherine started taking Irish dance lessons at seven years old, and began taking ballet classes at Pacific Ballet Academy in Mountain View at age eight. She danced in the studio's production of the Nutcracker and spring showcase through high school, and trained in a mix of ballet and contemporary dance. Notable roles she performed include Clara, Snow Queen, Sugar Plum Fairy, and Grand Pas De Deux from La Bayadere, and she performed with an online group called Digital Dance Project in her freshman year. Her favorite memory with the Ballet Company at UCLA is performing in Transcendence, the company's 2023 spring show, and she looks forwards to more performances this year! Catherine is looking forwards to fostering a welcoming dance environment and meeting new students and members as they join!
