Claire Crossman '23

Director of Internal Service

Claire is a first-year student studying Russian Language and Literature and Biology. Claire began her ballet training when she was three years old at International Ballet School in Littleton, Colorado. Throughout her 14 years at IBS, she performed the roles Clara, Arabian soloist, and Dew Drop in The Nutcracker, Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Diamond Faerie in The Sleeping Beauty, a stepsister in Cinderella, among others. Claire competed in Youth America Grand Prix and Denver Ballet Guild competitions from 2013 until 2018, receiving Top-12 and Top-10 awards. She attended summer intensives at the Kirov Academy of Ballet, of Washington D.C., Harid Conservatory, and Bolshoi Ballet Academy in New York City. Claire hopes that the UCLA Ballet Company will connect her with other students who are passionate about ballet on campus and allow her to continue to perform throughout college! She loves learning new choreography, performing, and meeting new people!
