Director of Communications

Ruwani is a third-year Political Science & Business Economics major from Los Gatos, CA. Ruwani has been training in ballet since she was five years old, performing in several full-length productions and competing in Youth American Grand Prix. She participated in summer intensive at Oregon Ballet Theatre and was a teaching assistant for younger dancers at her studio. Her favorite memory with the company was performing in the 2023 Spring Showcase, Transcendence, and choreographing for the first time! This year, Ruwani hopes to expand Ballet Company at UCLA's presence on campus and promote inclusivity in the ballet community.
